Selling Blockbuster is a VERY tough
decision for us. We aren't breeding him
much because he's related to so many of our
brood jennets. But he’s in his prime so
some lucky ranch is going to be able to continue
his show career (AND WIN!!!) and use him to
produce the type of stocky donkey for which
Quarter Moon Ranch is known. Blockbuster
is one of the most well-known jacks in the U.S.
He is a multi-champion herd sire having won
several National, Grand Champion and Best of
Breed titles. You rarely see these kinds
of jacks come up for sale. He's got the
conformation that everyone wants. He's
wide, drafty, square, short-bodied, straight
and has the most BEAUTIFUL head.

Check is the definition of drafty. Along with
his blocky structure, he is wide, straight and
has a pretty little head. And what a
hindquarter, very full and round. We really like
this one. His dad Half Dollar has flawless
conformation. His mom Nellie Belle is a
wonderful jennet too. And you won't be
disappointed in his personality. He's always
under foot and wanting attention. This one
should make an excellent herd sire and show
prospect and should be small too.
