QM HOMETOWN HERO |
DOB: 3-6--09 |
SOLD |
![]() Click photo at right for larger view. When Hometown Hero was a newborn, he caught the eye of everyone who saw him. His short black head, heavy bone, rounded rear, compact body and black color were stunning. We have listed him as dark brown only because he looks bleached from the sun, but we feel he is going to be black with a cross. We made that mistake with him mom by registering her as dark brown because we didn't want to exaggerate, but she is truly black with a faint cross. Hometown Hero's sire is Quarter Moon Fistful of Dollars, NMDA National Champion Jack & Best of Breed. His dam is Quarter Moon Fancy, a terrific color producer as well as a thick, wide, and correct jennet. Donkeys with no light points tend to throw more dark color than light points. So if you're looking to add dark color to your herd, Hero may just well fit the bill.
