Pete and I have RELUCTANTLY decided to sell Red Tape for no other reason than the fact
that he is not being used because he is sire of so many of our breeding jennets. This has
been a very hard decision for us; one which we've been toying with for over a year and just couldn't bring ourselves to do.
We've owned Tape for 9 years. We've built much of our herd around him and his fingerprint is heavy
in our breeding program. He is the sire or grandsire of more than half of the jennets we've retained and many of our show champions as well.
But we are in a tough spot right now. So many of the jennets we would like to breed to him are his daughters or too closely related.
He isn't being used as much as he needs to be. Tape is 11 years old (turns 12 in late August) and has many good years of breeding still ahead of him.
He needs to be breeding and continuing his legacy. He's just too good a jack to only be bred occasionally.
Red Tape pasture breeds and hand breeds. He is the most laid back jack we've owned.
When required to be pastured by himself when not breeding, he doesn't pace or become agitated.
If you are looking for a jack with name recognition, you might want to consider Tape. If you are looking for a boy to put heavy
bone, good dark sorrel color, and width into your herd, he will do just that. If you like a more refined donkey, Tape is not your boy. If you are interested in purchasing Red Tape,
please email us but please....only if you have a real interest in Tape. Chances to own a proven jack that is nationally known and has
produced NMDA National Champions who went on to produce NMDA Nationals Champions....well....this opportunity doesn't come along often. Red Tape is one of a kind.

LETTER FROM THE OWNER
After much consideration I have decided to offer my jack Quarter Moon Fistful of Dollars for sale. Fist is an exceptional boy whose accomplishments
go beyond the show ring. Many of you who know me know the bond I have with my animals, especially Fist, which makes the decision to sell him
extremely hard, but practical. My decision to sell is based upon a number of things. First, I am beginning my senior year of college with graduation
planned for May. As you may know many things come after graduation. There is no telling where I may end up, or what job I may have, but it is most
likely that I will not be in a position to purchase a ranch or even have a herd. It is important to me and has been over the years that my
CB Miniature Donkeys has been my own. It seems as though I am at a time in my life where it must be suspended. I can not ask my parents or
Quarter Moon Ranch to care for my animals any longer. They both have been so wonderful in providing and caring for me and my animals in so
many ways, but it is time to part ways with Fist. Secondly there is an obvious financial reason for selling Fist. As a new graduate, money is an issue.
I am looking out for what lies ahead and planning for that. I know many can understand and relate. It has been a pure joy to be able to accomplish
the things I have with Fist and really hate to see him go. I am confident that it is what is best for him and for me. Here is your chance to own one
of the few NMDA National Champions! QM Fistful of Dollars won the 2003 NMDA National Champion Jack and went on to be the 2003 NMDA National
Best of Breed. Not only did he accomplish that, but he later sired Quarter Moon Top Dollar who won 2007 NMDA National Champion Jack and 2007
NMDA National Best of Breed! QM Top Dollar is owned by Northgate Farm, Mike and Loydene Brown. This is truly “Like Father….Like Son.” Fist is a
proven champion who has produced a national champion and many other conformationally correct progeny. Fist is short bodied with a gorgeous head,
full rear, good legs and proportion. You can find attached Fist’s pedigree. He is a very easy breeder with a great disposition. He has been both hand

His dam is Quarter Moon Mariah who has produced some outstanding foals, most notably
Quarter Moon Gold Nugget, NMDA Champion Halter Jennet and multiple grand champion.
Windjammer has inherited the width and squareness of both parents. He has that beautiful Blockbuster head that is so appealing. Add a wonderful disposition

Midnight Skye is a very handsome jack. His sire is Quarter Moon Deacon,
an NMDA Champion Halter Jack. His dam Black Gold is an extremely dark jennet..almost black. Skye should throw good, rich, dark color
when bred to your dark jennets. Additionally, he was trained at halter for the show ring and would be able to take up where he left off very easily with
a little practice. Skye would make a tremendous and flashy driving donkey. He's very athletic and LOVES to jump. Obstacle classes shouldn't be a problem
for him should you decide to take him into the ring. His temperament is kind and not aggressive. This is a jack who is in his prime.

We specifically selected to breed her to Quarter Moon Deacon for dark color and body type. We are not disappointed. Bonfire is straight, tracks well, and is dark...almost black. The arrival of this little boy has been much anticipated because he is the first foal born by our junior herd sire Quarter Moon Ticker Tape. We are absolutely thrilled with this little guy. There is nothing to fault on him. He has the conformation we like to see on a foal. The width in his chest and hindquarter is tremendous. He is small, compact, proportionate and has the most gorgeous little head. Ticker Tape Parade is half brother to many outstanding jacks, namely Quarter Moon Fistful of Dollars (2003 NMDA National Champion), Quarter Moon High Plains Drifter (NMDA Champion Halter Jack), and Quarter Moon Little Buddy. All these boys are out of Cact-Ass Muffin who is one of our top jennets. If you are looking for a herd sire to put heavy bone and superior conformation into your herd, Ticker Tape Parade is your guy. If you are looking for a show gelding that should wow the judges, you need to really consider this boy. Should he not sell in the near future, we will keep him, geld him, and show him. He will probably mature between 33" and 34". With the strength of his genes, we anticipate good things from this boy. Should you want a show gelding who can do well at halter and is a beauty under harness, Midnight Blue is an outstanding candidate.
