Small, compact, heavy boned, gorgeous head, full hindquarter, tremendous width of chest, straight legs, good color, and a lover boy.....Ticker Tape is a total package. Add NMDA Champion to the mix and he's quite a special donkey. His pedigree is noteworthy. Ticker Tape's sire is our Red Tape who is an NMDA National Get of Sire winner, 3 time NMDA Get of Sire winner, and the sire of the 2003 NMDA National Champion, Quarter Moon Fistful of Dollars. Ticker Tape's dam is LN Red Roni, a daughter by the popular LN Redsonnehi. Our first Ticker Tape foals begin arriving in May, 2006.

This boy didn't have to grow into his fine conformation. He had it from the moment he stood up. Small (30 3/4" at 20 months), tremendous width in his hind legs and chest, a spectacular head that's short and blocky, fullness to his rear, correctness in his legs, short-bodied, and a deep, rich brown. Blockbuster's got it all. At one day old, you could see the unusual width between his legs, a much desired trait in a herd sire and show donkey. His dam Quarter Moon My Emily was one of our show donkeys and is a spectacular spotted jennet. In 2003, this cross produced Quarter Moon Flashback, 2005 ACOSA National Champion. Deacon and Emily are a golden combination. We look for spectacular foals from this boy. We will begin breeding Buster in the Fall of 2006.
